Camerin, Ash Blonde Topknot
This little doll was bought for me as a gift from the members of MyChildWorkshop.
It looked like someone had stood on her face and it was pushed in on 1 side.
After removing her head, I stuffed 13 plastic shopping bags into the head so that it helped to push her face out. I then filled the head with hot water and pushed the bags in tighter.
Once the water had cooled, I very carefully removed the shopping bags 1 at a time.
The face was pushed in that badly that on the inside the nose and eye were touching making her nose slightly off center but I think it adds character. The skin on her face was also very stretched so a big face lift was done to remove it all.
Besides the pushed in face the doll was really clean with no pilling at all, She didn't seem played with at all.
This doll is very special and I'm so pleased with the difference, she's been a great joy to work on and will be a great addition to my Collection.
I'd like to thank all the members of MyChildWorkshop for buying me this very special doll that needed a lot of TLC.
